Dr. Ma. Junemie Hazel Lebata-Ramos has been involved in mangrove conservation and rehabilitation projects and has worked on the biology and ecology of some mangrove-associated mollusks and crustaceans. For the past decade she has been working on the stock enhancement of mud crabs, giant clams and abalone; integrated multitrophic aquaculture; and studying the impacts of intensive aquaculture to the environment. Her most recent works are on the refinement of grow-out culture techniques for abalone and oysters.
